Saino Sliding Fire Doors are UL Listed and Labeled

The sliding fire door systems can be labeled anywhere from 20 minutes to 4 hours. Fire Door Closing Devices must be UL Listed and Labeled, and are required to be tested every 6 months.
Fire door cores can consist of honeycomb, fiberglass, mineral wool or calcium silicate. A honeycomb core door can have a 20 minute to four hour rating, no temperature rise rating. A fiberglass core door can have 1.5 to 4 hour labels with a 30 minute 650 degree temperature rise rating. A mineral wool core door can have a 1.5 to 4 hour label with a 30 minute 450 temperature rise rating. Calcium silicate is a core door can have a 1.5 to 4 hour label with a 30 minute 250 temperature rise rating.

650 degree, 30 minute label = The temperature on the opposite side of a fire door will not rise more than 650 degrees in 30 minutes in a fire.

450 degree, 30 minute label = The temperature on the opposite side of a fire door will not rise more than 450 degrees in 30 minutes in a fire.

250 degree, 30 minute label = The temperature on the opposite side of a fire door will not rise more than 250 degrees in 30 minutes in a fire.
